The Dirt Dabbler's is a gardening club of like-minded individuals who share a passion for plants, flowers, and gardening. The club meets the 3rd Monday of the month, March to October, to discuss various gardening topics, exchange tips and tricks, and participate in gardening activities. The club members come from different backgrounds and have varying levels of experience in gardening, but they all share a common interest in cultivating beautiful and healthy gardens. Some members may have large gardens, while others may have only a small balcony or window box. Regardless of the size of their gardens, all members are encouraged to participate and share their experiences. During club meetings, members may discuss a range of topics related to gardening, such as soil preparation, planting techniques, pest control, pruning, and propagation. Members may also bring in samples of their plants or pictures of their gardens to share with the group. Guest speakers may occasionally be invited to talk about specific gardening topics. In addition to discussing gardening topics, the club also engages in gardening activities. These may include visiting local gardens, participating in community gardening projects, or simply working together to tend to a member's garden. The gardening club is a great way for individuals to learn more about gardening, share their experiences, and connect with others who share their passion for plants and flowers. Whether you are a seasoned gardener or just starting out, the club provides a welcoming and supportive community where you can learn, grow, and enjoy the beauty of nature. This year's planned activities are: May - Plant sale on the 6th and a Field trip to nurseries in the Walla Walla area June - Membership Picnic July - Flower Arrangement Class August - Guest Speaker-Education Director for Farm to School September - No Activity October - The group supports a non-profit in town with their wish list. Membership is $5
