Established in 1986, the mission of the Oregon East Symphony is, 'to operate, support, and maintain a symphony orchestra, ensembles, chorale, and youth classical music program to enhance the cultural wealth of the region through education and performance.' We accomplish this through an annual concert season which includes performances of symphonic, choral, chamber and holiday music, and Playing for Keeps, a comprehensive classical music education program for rural youth.
